Emma's Kindergarten Graduation

It's official, Emma had graduated from Kindergarten!! I can't believe that the school year is over. It does go faster now that I'm the parent and not the one going to school. It was a fun program where the kids said a poem and then got to come up to get their diploma. Here's some pictures!

They had 2 other school events going on today, so the kindergartners got to graduate outside of their classroom. It's how they get to recess. It was nice to have enough room for everyone, but a little hot.

And now, a collection of how many pictures do you need to take to get a cute one of a real smile.

I love looking at blogs, especially paper craft ones. At Pebbles, there is a super cute Father's Day pattern. You could also use it for a missionary, with a white shirt and name tag, of course.
Here's the link to see how cute it is. http://pebblesinmypocket.blogspot.com

Spring Break

For spring break we went bowling. Emma has been wanting to go for a very long time, and since it was snowing outside, we thought that this would be a great time to go. Plus, Andrew had the time of his life.

I didn't realize that the picture would end up on it's side, but it's a fun video of Andrew bowling.

Well, since I'm on a roll, I might as well put Easter pictures up, too.

These are the cookies at they made at Macey's, as part of their Easter festivities.

Dying Eggs with Grandpa (and mom). I love dying eggs!! It was hard to just do one.

Emma putting stickers on the eggs.

Hunting for eggs inside. It was really rainy, so we did it inside. Seth, who is use to Easter with snow outside, thought this was how it was suppose to be. We'd come to a compromise of having one inside and one outside (since that's how I think it should be and am obviously right), but we ended up only having the inside one, thanks to the rain.

Emma with her spoils.
Emma's school had a Carnival on May 11th. There was cotton candy, popcorn, face painting, carnival games, and a little train to ride. Can you guess what they wanted to spend their tickets on? Choo Choo, in Andrew's words. Here's some pictures of their ride.

Emma also had a Dance Festival today, May 18th. It was to a Lion King song, "Oh I Just Can't Wait To Be King". Emma has been practicing at school for 2 weeks, but also practiced tons at home. We found it on a sing along video, and Emma learned how to rewind and practice over and over, with a different pair of shoes each time. Here's a video of her dance. She's wearing a yellow shirt and is in the middle-ish. It's kind of bumpy because I was recording with our camera and Andrew kept yanking on my arm.
