More From the Quilt Show

I always try to find a chicken something for Allie, because she doesn't like them. This one was actually quite amazing. Lots of time and effort went into this chicken.

This is the book I bought, and am going to try the one that is on the front.

Here are a few quilts that I liked.

In the parking lot, there was a Mommy Bird, I believe technically known as a Killdeer. They live in our yard in Oklahoma. It made me feel at home to hear her and watch her run with her little stick legs. I couldn't get really close for a good picture, so hopefully you can see her.

Last Supper Quilt

For my birthday, I got to go to a quilt show. Once again, it is obvious that it is me and not Seth who is doing the blogging. Anyway, I got to go without small helpers (otherwise known as children) and with birthday money to spend. I had a wonderful time and even learned a few things.

They had a display of the Last Supper quilt. It has over 50,000 squares in it. They are all 1/2 inch squares. It was made by this cute older man, Don Locke. I was lucky enough to get my picture taken with him and his masterpiece. He told me we were engaged after our picture. I felt honored.
He even signed a post card of the picture for me.

Snug as two bugs in a bed

This is how I found them sleeping one night.

Regressing?

Andrew had been trying to get in the sink the last few times I had done dishes, so last Sunday I let him. He had a wonderful time, even if he didn't fit as well as he did when he was little.

He's trying to catch the water, but it always seems to get away.
